Biografi SNSD ( Girl Generations )

Girls' Generation is a South Korean female singing group formed SM Entertainment. They consist of 9 members: Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon, Jessica, and Sunny. Single prime "다시 만난 세계 (Into the New World)" was released August 2, 2007. Both of their albums have each sold more than 100 thousand copies.

Enthusiasts refer to them as SNSD, an acronym for the name of this group in Korea, So Nyeo Shi Dae. The official fan club of Girls' Generation called S ♡ NE (소원) taken from the title track in their first album.

Early Stand

Formation of Girls' Generation announced on July 16, 2007. At first, they were named Super Girl, a female version of Super Junior, along with the official announcement of each member's profile. Before becoming a member of Girls' Generation, they have been trained as a professional dancer and singer. Some have been trained in acting and modeling, as well as a model experienced in television and magazine advertising.

The first single and album: 2007-2008

M event! M.Net Countdown on July 18, 2007 to place the first appearance of Girl's Generation. They performed the song "다시 만난 세계 (Into the New World)" which was released as the first single Girl's Generation, August 2007. The single also contains two other songs, "Beginning" and "Perfect For You (소원)," and the instrumental version of "다시 만난 세계 (Into the New World)". The title track "Perfect For You" will change the title as "Honey" in their debut album, Girls' Generation. The single "Into the New World" followed by promotional activities. They appeared on the show on SBS's Popular Songs, Show! Music Core on MBC, and KBS Music Bank.

소녀 시대 debut album (Girls' Generation) was released late fall 2007 with a song titled the same pledge. Lee Seung Chul When sung, the song "Girls' Generation" was a success as a hit song, but when they are sung, this album only sold a number of 121 143 copies. In early 2008, Girls' Generation began promoting the second single, "Kissing You" with Donghae of Super Junior as guest stars.

In March 2008, the album Girls' Generation was released again with different titles, Baby Baby, and released the single "Baby Baby" from the album. Meanwhile, a digital EP, Roommate of Jessica, Tiffany, and Seohyun was released in April 2008. After that, the Girls' Generation participate in SMTown Live '08 concert with colleagues from SM Entertainment, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, CSJH the Grace, Zhang Liyin, and SHINee. Tour is also held in Thailand and the PRC.

Pinnacle of success: 2009

On January 2009, Girls' Generation Gee released a mini album titled the same Singel of Gee's album instantly became the most popular songs in Cyworld the next day, and ranks number one all digital charts in the next two days.

In order to promote the album Gee, they appeared on the Show! Music Core month of January 2009. They performed the song "Gee" and "Him Nae / Way To Go" which also comes from the mini album Gee. M.Net in the charts, "Gee" became number one record holder of the most enduring (8 weeks) beat "Nobody" from the Wonder Girls. Girls 'Generation was ranked first 9 weeks in a row with the song "Gee", as well as record-breaking event on KBS Music Bank previously held by Jewelry with' One More Time "(7 weeks in a row).

They returned with new single "Sowoneul Malhaebwa (Genie)" (Korean: "소원 을 말해봐", "Tell Me Your Wish") which was released digitally, June 22, 2009. This mini album featuring duo of Jessica and named Onew Shinee members.

2010: The second album, debuted in Japan and Hoot

In January, SM Entertainment confirmed that Girls' Generation will release their second album, Oh! on January 28. The lead single from the album entitled "Oh!" released digitally on January 25 followed by music videos were released two days later. The song was immediately ranked first in the various music charts in just a few moments after it was released. With the song "Oh!", Girls' Generation succeeded in winning K-Chart 5 consecutive weeks at the KBS Music Bank, as well as three victories on SBS Inkigayo. Video clip of the song is also very popular, as evidenced by the first rank as the most watched video on Youtube in 2010 in Korea and Hong Kong, and entered the ranks of the top 10 in Taiwan and Japan.
